Operation Fuel will be running to Energy Assistance Programs
beginning on August 2, 2010. Details are below. Please note that we
are no longer using FEDEX to receive applications. Please scan and
PDF applications to Nadia De La Puente or Brenda Watson, or mail
them to the Operation Fuel Central Office. A $1 processing fee will
be added to the $20 application processing fee to pay for the

1. Summer Program – Funded with Operation Fuel Charitable
Funds which can be used for all energy sources. The program will
run from August 2, 2010 to November 1, 2010. After which, our winter
program will begin.

2. TANF Program – Federally Funded, funds will be for gas and
electric utilities only.

eligibility requirements for this program. The program will run from
August 2, 2010 to September 30, 2010.
General TANF program guidelines are below:
- Grant award $500
- Gas and Electric Utilities only (for bills no older than 30
days and for future bills. Grant can be used as credit toward
future bill)
- Must have children under age 19 living in household
- Household must also meet all three eligibility criteria (see
section 2 of application)
- Applications are subject to final approval by Operation Fuel
staff
- Commitment letters will be sent on behalf of client directly
from Operation Fuel
