MDC CEO Scott Jellison Elected to Operation Fuel Board of Directors

Operation Fuel’s Board of Directors has elected Scott Jellison, Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC), to serve on the energy assistance organization’s board.

“Bringing Jellison onto our Board adds important expertise in the areas of water and wastewater,” said Brenda Watson, Executive Director of Operation Fuel. “As Operation Fuel continues to expand our water utilities assistance to more and more Connecticut residents, his experience and knowledge will help guide our strategy and our program development.”

In February 2015, the MDC appointed Jellison as the agency’s Chief Executive Officer after serving as Chief Operating Officer since 2006. The MDC, with a staff of approximately 450, is a non-profit municipal corporation chartered by the Connecticut General Assembly in 1929 to provide drinking water, wastewater treatment, mapping and other services to the Hartford region.
