Utility Protection for Low-Income Families: Hardship Coding through May 1

Hardship customers are protected against utility shutoffs through May 1.

If you get cash assistance, SNAP, HUSKY, SSI, or other government help, utility companies must offer a $50 per month plan.

You are eligible even if you have a back bill or your monthly bill is more than $50 (includes back balance reduction).
